Putting OKO in a tractor tyre?

I know I know, we should repair them properly but…. We have two punctures in the sidewall caused by blackthorns on the hedge cutting tractor. Given the time of year and our reluctance to keep having to take tyre off if we get more, similar punctures, will putting OKO in cause problems going forward? It’s a large 650/75/38 if that makes any difference - 80%.

If it were the tread I’d just plug them.

Usually the thorn is still in the tyre

You need a lot of Oko to get up the sidewalls,it's normally only the tread it works with.

We use mining spec tyre sealant and you don’t need to put that much in -I bet half a drum or even less would be enough in 650/75/38.
We had leaky beads on eight sprayer flotations and it’s even sealed the beads on them.local tyre co said it wouldn’t but it’s worked perfectly and been in three four years now at a guess

Yes, used mining grade oko here to seal some trailer flotations that were leaking at the bead, and it's worked well.
Can take a bit longer if it's not actually on the tread but it gets thrown pretty much everywhere inside the tyre if you take it a quick run down the road.
Sidewall splits it will struggle with because of the way they open a bit every time the tyre goes round. I would have thought it will work with thorns though.
