Putting time aside to just enjoy

To get away from the hustle and bustle of not seeing anybody as I am on my farm on my own all day I like to get away to Australia where there are even less people. Covid has put paid to that for now.

Here’s a holiday pic, we saw a car every 12 miles so at some points there wasn’t another car in front for 24 miles (about as far along the road as you could see in the pic)

Isnt there something like a 90 mile straight in Australia??

Imaginatively called “90 mile straight”, more than a days drive through nothing just to get there. I have been relatively close to it but not actually on it.
I’ve been a fair few times but still haven’t got my head around how big and how empty the place is and I’ve only really been to the busier bits.
My pic is Capricorn highway in Queensland on the way to Longreach.

Do you and your son get down to Shennington Circuit in Oxfordshire it’s very popular seems to be racing there every weekend .

We were at Shennington in July for the 6 hour endurance race, practicing for the British 24 Hour race at Teesside in August (4 drivers doing 6 hours each).
September was Rowrah, October was Fulbeck, where he broke his shoulder blade after hitting a spinner and rolling the kart...

In winter - Ice climbing, particularly the North Face of Ben Nevis, don;t often get the chance as conditions have to be right combined with cows in etc also cosying up in front of the fire with all the books I wanted to read since last winter. Spring would be starting to get the garden prepared for planting. Summer - after the main bulk of the work is done is kayaking and wild swimming ( plan to buy a paddle board this year also. Autumn- camping as no midges, nice fire and cooking langoustines, scallops and steak, I enjoy preparing for winter at the same time as dreading it, but there is something nice about hanging heavier curtains etc and knowing that you have enough logs for the fire, meat in the freezer and veg stored for an apocalypse.

Edit - Forgot trying new wines

just admit it, that's your missus and you don't want all the horny farmers perving over her. :D
fortunately i'm too old for that. 🤣
I wish... sadly I've never met anyone daft enough to put up with me for long!

Surely ploughing would be better than combining 😉🤣🤣
... not an option when working with professional models, even direct drilling isn't allowed :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

The funny thing is that over the years I have worked with some absolutely stunning models including some in various levels of undress & it does nothing for me in that sense, which is just as well because that sort of thing is very much frowned upon & if you get a reputation then you end up pretty much blacklisted!
