When you reckon up how many times you have to go through it in a bad haymaking year, I reckon our old haybobs will have racked up a helluva total.
Multiply that by how many they will have sold and I reckon it'll be billions.

Always keep a haybob handy and battle ready in case i break the tedder or rake.
Still use it on rough fields

Will a haybob 300 row up grass from a 8 foot swarth not cut with a conditioner mower or does it have to be tossed out first ?

What year did they first come out. Dad had one on a Ford 3000. So has to be 1969/70.

I thought about 1975 ? Dad bought one in a crate and put it together around that time. A pre delux version that didn't have a stand.

Before 1975. Dad sold the Ford 3000 in 1972. I remember the demo being done, haybob came on a trailer from SKH. Fitted to the 3000 and never left, trailer left empty. So it's got to be between 1968 and 1972, when Dad had the Ford 3000. It was on a G reg plate.
