Pz jumbo 420

HI is a pz jumbo 420 mainly good for rowing or will it tedd ok as well read different articles that really they are just for rowing,considering the possibility of getting one. Thank you

Think just for rowing up as ram pushes rotors out to rake 4.2 mtrs of grass up.

The 420 is just for rowing, the 380 will row and spread.

I'm looking for a 360, but very hard to get, something to row 2 8feet rows into 1. Fransgard 390 are about but want a 360. Never even seen a 420 advertised for sale.

Do they still make them ?
Had one over 20 years ago rowing up two 9’ rows. Did a superb job moving rows onto fresh ground and leaving a smooth fluffed up 18’ row for 10x Also the faster you went the better the row

Check and replace the plastic bushes on the tine holders. Also use genuine tines if you can get them.
we did use some cheap copies once and they don’t last.
i think we shimmed the rotors once to take up any play. But it’s a long time ago. I’ve slept since then !

I have just purchased a 420 and I'm just exploring how it works - it's a more complicated beast! I am assessing the work needed to make it work well. Just ordered the Operator's manual.
