Do people still use QR codes a lot? Are they useful? When do you use them?

They are very popular in Japan, personally until a QR reader becomes an OS standard App (free of adds and on every device), they are a long way off being de facto

As a customer, retailer, or manufacturer/distributor you mean? Or for organising your workshop stores?

As a customer, I appreciate them on retail boxes where their purpose is to link me to a website that explains the product. Another good example is the use that Toyota put them to in their leaflets which link to their app and interactive more-in-depth and video-centric content.
