Are there any decent apps for use on a quad when slug pelleting or grass seeding? Something simple that’s got a line on the screen you drive to if mounted in the middle of the handlebars?

That is a very accurate figure (about the accuracy itself). Looking at the example, mapping also seems to be offset by 9.037m exactly. Well, give or take a few metres.

We are iPhones so we can’t get that app. Any other suggestions?

We have got a JD Universal steering kit with screen and dome but I’m concerned about the power draw it’ll require as we’re already drawing a lot for the machines the quad runs and forever have battery issues.

Connects to any Bluetooth receiver.

The GPS in your phone just isn't accurate enough for guidance.

A satellite receiver like qstarz 818xt will give sub meter pass to pass accuracy with a dual network error compensation, and 2. 5m absolute error (means you can return to within 2.5m of a saved position, but perfectly accurate enough for slug pelleting).

If you want more accurate, patchwork blackbox air is a tablet with their software installed, and a sub 30cm pass to pass accuracy Bluetooth receiver. It'll set you back around ,£1200 though.

How about a CLAAS co pilot. Intergrated DGPS receiver and free signal enables sub 30cm pass to pass accuracy. It’s a light bar system that is the most accurate out of the box. Cheaper than you can buy a new iPhone too
