Unfortunately last night we had our quad bike stolen ? we live on a farm with two lanes main lane and a back lane half a mile each lane. The keys was left in it, will insurance still pay?

What happens to all these stolen quads ?

The amount that get stolen just in this area must satisfy a huge demand somewhere !!

I had 2 stolen last month.......... the thiefs walked 2 miles across Marsh land to get to our buildings to avoid all our security systems.

I would say most of them end up in one of many alternative caravan clubs to be used for other night time activities

There is no political will to sort it, if there was it would be done.
It is easier and cheaper to make it an insurance problem than tackle it.

I know a guy that knows a guy (dodgy but not a pikey) that had a Lithuanian guy in the yard when he went round. Ya,one of those stories! Anyhow Lithuanian Guy was looking for any stuff to buy to send home..... something to with brexit maybe, said he had until September and then I wouldn't be worth it.

dont know if it's true or what it means to be honest.

Quads need a tracker. Even a simple phone with pay as you go card that you can track. Need to remember to take it out of its hiding place and send a text once a month. Even works for sheep in the winter where you put it in a poly bag and then put it under the fleece. Brutal but simple and effective.
