Quad Bike Theft

Last night a quad bike was stolen from the Market Rasen area. It was an old Yamaha reg no Q583 CHH.
The gear lever gate plate had been damaged and repaired. Colour dark green. Its a bad starter, sometimes it starts and sometimes it won't, and pretty old and worn out and cant really understand why somebody would risk stealing it but they did.
The bike is marked with hidden security ID and can easily be identified if found.

This just the latest of a spate of quad bike thefts in this area over the last year.

Very disheartening that people will stoop so low to steal from those least able to afford such a loss of a tool used to earn their livelihood. Wont be replacing it as will only get stolen again.

It looks as though they visited twice, first night on Thursday night breaking down a gate to make an escape route which we thought was wind damage. Next night bike was stolen. Two fences cut to get it out. Police say they use cover of stormy weather to get stuff away unnoticed so watch out.

Thanks.
