Anyone used one or seen on in action, getting fed up with crap rear racks on quad bike that cant any weight, would it also be possible to put a Rappa fencer on them

We have a small homemade crate on the back of our quad. It will hold one ewe or a couple of dogs. As soon as you put an ewe in it the bike becomes very difficult to steer. The bike won't tip over backwards though. Ours fits onto the ball hitch and rear rack, with most of the weight carried by the hitch.

Any chance of a couple of pictures in action @GTB
We did have it set lower down to start with but we kept getting stuck on rough ground or crossing gullies. It's better than towing a trailer around 'just in case' but as soon as you put an ewe in it you head straight home, preferably down hill ;) (though it's really not very heavy at all).

Uncle made 1 like that but eventually changed it for 1 built into the snacker.
Do your jaws for attaching to the quad frame not need more vertical leeway to allow for suspension on bike?

I used a Quadcrate for a season and quite liked it some of the time. Not sure that my bike liked it very much though - To get it balanced, I ballasted both front wheels and had a rack with at least a bag of minerals on the front as counterweight and the front end was a bit "slack" when we sold the bike on.

I loved the concept, and it worked well for the "just in case" scenario, but like others here, once I had a ewe on board it was pretty much head straight home as steering became quite cumbersome.

If you are running two bikes, it might be a good thing to have on one of them, but if just one, I don't think I would bother. That said, I know of one or two others who are using them and it really suits their situation.

Here my version. Mine has a frame which I intended to fit different attachments. Slug Pelleter work really well as it is close to the rack, definitely taken the stain onto the axle. Thinking of doing the same for spot sprayer. Flat rack same size as flap of silage but as above said weight is too far back. Having said that can put 1/4 bale on with a tractor weight on the front. Main reason for doing it is to feed sheep on keep too far to ride down the main road to, just put the bike on a trailer so only have drive out into field. Otherwise how do you get a quad and trailer to the field? Bought a dead ewe back today across a really wet field today. Handled that OK and saved a journey.

Does alot of the load weight not hang off the rack with these things? IMO long term these things will sadly do more damage to a bike.

I do like the idea though.

Only just put that on. My bread baskets are disintegrating and the village shop has cctv now ;)

Run one this season brilliant for first time lambers that need gathering as you can catch and carry. Think ideal would be to use in conjunction with a little trailer. Also good for putting dogs in and carrying feed bags etc. Only thing I would alter is to put nylon strips in the channel where it slides as metal on metal can make it stick sometimes, also handy for fencing have a pic of the rig I use on my phone but can't figure out how to load it :scratchhead:
