had one from northern tools years ago which was 2 nozzles for doing 30 ft , found when they were both on that there was not enough pump pressure , now got a nozzle does about 10ft and a lot happier using it , cant remember the make but they are always advertising big water tanks .

The boominator is a good nozzle actually , an expensive one but what it does is impressive. However it is only really any good if you're spraying between trees or lots of other obstacles that make a boom difficult to use.
The main thing to think about is how much control do you want to have over your application .
If you want to know precisely how many litres per hectare you are applying then a boom is best but if you're not overly worried then the boominator is the way to go.
I'm not saying that you can't gauge your application rate with a boominator but you can liken it to your thumb over the end of a hose pipe for pattern and spray quality .
Hope this helps

I had a Boominator thing, in fact it's still slung in the back of the shed somewhere. It was a complete waste of time IME. I used it for spraying thistles and got a quick knock down. But then they came straight back. I am convinced it was because the droplet size is too large, giving less contact. Good in theory, but......

As above , we got one , it's cr&p. Ours also has a hand lance which is good though

Bought an Enduramax trailed. Easy to use and works very well. I had a short boom section about which I mounted on Std brackets.

I have a C-Dax with a mini boom and hand lance so slightly wider than the quad that sprays out to 4.5m. Can't fault it. In theory, there should be plenty of sprayers coming on the market with the new regulations.

Well parcel arrived today and fitted fine, dry run with water and all works as hoped.

Might need to adjust the mud flaps but they don't seem to be effecting the spray pattern.

Make sure that the pump is wired directly to the battery and the wiring is as short as possible. I had problems with voltage reducing and therefore not getting particularly good output from the pump- shortening the wiring and not wiring via the plug socket on the back of the rear rack solved this

How you finding it now after a bit of use?

Very pleased. Done a fair few acres one way and another.

Field boundaries, spot spraying grass weeds, even sprayed of a 3 acre bird plot rather than hook up main sprayer.

Very happy with it. Only criticism is getting last 5 litres out of tank. If on the slope wrong way the uptake pipe is sucking air.

Run mine of a 12 volt leisure battery strapped to front rack.

When I used one, I found that when emptying any remainder through the drain plug, it would always run over the bodywork of the ATV and/or down into the footwell. You need to either drive the ATV across a slope, or put one side up on a brick etc...

PS. when draining the residue, it was always done in the correct way- it was collected and disposed of appropriately, or it was allowed to drain onto a suitable bit of land (without overdosing)

I’ve got the Agrimec sprayer. 90L tank Lance and boom.
Had it about 3 yrs generally getting on fine with it. Agree about the slope when completely emptying it. I put mine in a knapp sack and use. What could be improved? Not the biggest fan of the small ratchet straps to secure the tank to rack. It’s a bit of a faff and you have to keep making sure they're bloody tight else they fall off on me. The pump is fine does the job with both Lance and running 7 nozzles on boom…..but think they do a slightly more powerful pump in other products and I would prefer they include that particular pump with this sprayer.
Generally though it’s good for the money.
