Quad towed Bale Unroller

Seen these small bale unrollers that look handy on wet fields. What do people think of them and are there any conditions where they are not suited (e.g. Bales too heavy - tight/terrain). I like the look of the Dayteck twin axle one but haven't seen any other models

I think i also saw someone else on this thread saying they had one. Would be ideal with current conditions - how much poaching do the stock do with it fed out over a larger area??

for squares and on the pics there is a coil tine grubber used to have built by them blue one behind dueled up case
keep in mind a bale of balelage weight of feeder as well is quite a bit for a quad to drag about even on the flat add a hill or 3 would need to be a tough quad or side by side to handle the weight and the towing on frame and gearbox

Hi guys I'm new here but I have been using one of these for 5ish years. The farm I manage has one for behind the diesel polaris. It's a great thing pretty heavy if you want to shift it by hand. Some one handy with a welder could make one cheaper than it was bought for I think but design is spot on. Problems for me have been chains coming of if they get a bit slack. Usually a result of someone else "tightening" it badly. Easy enough to put back on by hand once you have the knack. I use it on the hill an island off the west coast of Scotland so the low slung draw bar can get me stuck pretty easily.

Hope that helps, ask any questions and I will answer if I can....how do I put photos up here?

I found it! We load it with the merlo instead of using the winch and dropping the bed back. Mainly coz lazy! And faster
