Not a great photo but that kind of a 3pt systeam is so simple to hook up to imperemts. Back, lift, top link and go. While still giving you some room to put hoes in.

yeah, I’ve used those in the UK, but tbh I’m not really a fan. Still not as quick or simple as a quick hitch. The beauty of the US / AUS style quick hitch is that all 3 points are fixed, arms the right width etc etc if everything is on a standard Cat 3 ( or 4 ) specification. It doesn’t really matter if you aren’t entirely square on either, because it all falls into place.
Anyway, we all have our personal biases & preferences, depending on what we are familiar with, but personally I wouldnt have a high horsepower tractor for linkage work without a quick hitch. It IS the standard here through all the summer crop regions of northern NSW & southern Qld for a reason
