AAAHHH now come on lets lift the standard of bodging, putting blocks in end grain to the disc would require thin slices of timber that would have no strength, a bit like putting in wheetabix...........

tis a bodging thread what wrong with some black oil to prevent the rot setting in. the creosote smell would be a dead give away to a peeler.

Old crumbler from Dutch harrow, angle iron leveller and twisted bit of metal as main frame makes a seedbed finisher to tow behind germinator. Nb definitely a bodge as frame off scrap heap is so twisted that weights on this side are needed to make leveller run evenly......
