A creation this time i think
made some new lambing pens, with a water pipe at the back fitted on a ball valve, so no need to go feeding the sheep water etc.
this is the the first batch erected.

is that 4" or 6" pipe?
we went for 6", as thought 4 may be a little tight. couldnt find a ball valve to fit, so fitted a T on the end, which is useful as it has a bung in the bottom should we wish to drain them out.
Really pleased with them just looking at them tonight. should make life a lot easier.

You'll be surprised how much time it will save you. Not sure on the size but will have a look when I do my rounds(y)

I know very little about livestock farming, but it looks to me like the kind of thing that you wonder why you didn't do it years ago!
Top job by the way(y)

Any clever uses for those 3mm diameter ish galvanised rods ~ 900mm long that are used to hold up tree guards? Got loads, seems a bit of a shame to scrap them.

Today's improvised bodge was drain jetting
Went to unblock a sewer, no pics, wasn't pretty :wtf:, and it just wouldn't shift with rods, long story that I won't elaborate on.....
So, only having rods with me, and now feeling like I'd taken a knife to a gunfight, I started to look at other options!
Lucky the place I was at had a pressure washer, and after much searching, I found some pipe fittings, and some tiny drill bits, and hey presto! I got myself a makeshift drain jetter (y)
Nothing stunning, but it worked a treat;)
