I forgot the worming bottle so I had to improvise, lucky I always carry my two stroke drill! And it was good, the bottle fitted in pocket easy!

Here's another, I wanted a cover for the dodding shears, old bar pad from the trials bike
At last! found a thread which doesn't already star @Gator ! And I would have thought he would have been mentioned here as a quick fix for his internet is what he needs...
I think @Gator would be too busy convincing @ARW that his drink was better than another top brand

Every time I read this thread I'm impressed with the ingenuity and whilst not quite up to the normal high standards my bodge of the day made me happened when the mole plough was struggling to stay down figured some extra weight would help keep the mole down, some concrete blocks and a strap later it was all sorted.

You have a point there. I blame the architects. They've no idea how to design a bachelor pad. I've been saying for years we want a gentle slope on a hard floor with a drain in one corner. Then just hose out occasionally.:)
2 to 3 inches of newspaper, just like the bachelor dinner-table.
A bit of muck doesn't affect it's usefulness as a firelighter, gap filler, compost, or makeshift pirate hat.

Maybe i'm not seeing correctly  but isn't your mole bar on the wrong way around? the way i'm seeing the point, it will only want to head to the surface all the time :scratchhead:

The mole is quite short, I was wondering if replacing it would be worth while or perhaps add a digger bucket toe to the front, should extend the length and maybe help pull it down?

It is working ok as it is with the bit of weight, prior to adding the weight it was riding up slightly after hitting any buried stones etc.

Full marks to @sawdust
Just try turning the leg around. ;)
That's a subsoiler leg not a mole plough leg. They are different (but similar ) things but both point forwards and down to pull themselves into the soil.(y)

It should ride up slightly if it hits buried stones, how much depends on the draft setting on the little lever next to the linkage lever.
Position is 'fixed', Full Draft is very sensitive and will allow it to ride out rather than pull through a tough bit.
Put it about half way between the two?
Just trying to help, sorry if you know the draft bit.

But you used new concrete blocks , should be in the engineering thread

It is the wrong way round and also it looks like a sub soiler foot. A mole foot is around 18 inches long and is round and pointed with a short chain and expander on the end of the bit of chain.

I'll get some better pics when I'm back home again. (Sadly out working inside today on another lovely day).

The whole mole plough is a home made affair and the leg is just an ignorant bit of 25mm plate with a bevel on one side. Mole could probably do with being longer and I agree a slope relative to the beam would help. There is an expander attached b(uried in the shadow somewhere)

I run the top link short to atain the same effect as having the mole at an angle. Long term i will likely make a longer mole and put the angle on when fitting.

Oh blocks whilst clean are second hand I was actually paid to remove along with a 1300 litre metal oil tank which was sitting on them.

Take no notice of TFF CSI...... Just crack on with that lovely 6610.
If the leg's on the wrong way round, just mole plough in reverse......:ROFLMAO:

Moss rake for the garden, made a few years ago from combine reel bar and fingers, some dexion, old leccy fence stakes and just for the haters some new cable ties because the old bale string holding the ballast on kept rubbing through. It goes behind the ride on mower, but due to a total design oversight it can't go on the drawbar and instead having to hook on higher up to stop it flipping forwards.
