Also whats best way to re shaft a hammer without useing new shafts waterpipe and broken bale spikes
Length of nut branch, narrow one end very crudely with a bench grinder, thump it it through the head and then hammer in a lot of old fencing staples to swell and keep the head on. Might no be a bodge though as they seems to last longer than new handles do.
