Did think a highland would look good unpainted in the rusty red.

Yes if done on a decent guage of steel, especially good if rest of sign painted.

Having filled the straw shed with wheels over the spring and summer, I needed to get some straw in.
Managed to 'hide' the narrows against a wall.

and a few rims at the other side.

Sadly proud of getting them out of the way. Space for a few more yet.

Of course as soon as the shed is full, you will need the wheels for some un-forseen emergency. Neccessitating the purchase of another set!

Rowcrops in January? Probably not.

Tis however a wile pity about the 2 brand new jubilee clips.

I've this size on my 2 bale trailers and have accumulated a few spares for the next project but always on the look out for more. The tyres are available ex 7.5 tonne wagons, but they're not rated for commercial low loaders etc but good for farm bale work.
The rims are harder to find but not that expensive new.

Can't be too careful.
I was deprived of spare wheels in my early career so rarely turn them down now.
Don't seem to get as many punctures now though.
That's not a stockpile.....

I'm choosing instead to wean myself gradually.
The tyre shed is becoming a cottage soon.
I'm not sure my way is working all that well.

cut the cow out of Corten steel and not paint

Yes had thought that but corten bit more expensive than scrapped oil tank!!
Will have another play when I get time.
