Can’t work out if this is a drain rod caddy or one of those multiple organ pipe rocket launchers so beloved of the Russians in WW 2.

Obviously missed your natural vocationHome made electric wrapper control box , I will admit new parts , however no professional (or other) advice was taken. And it functions too - bonus View attachment 678754

Forgot to add that the cable tie was off a used fertiliser bag. Been saving them for years and that was only the second one I have found a use for. My son despairs and has threatened to hide themThe pipe rubbed through on the loader bracket and replacement was going to do the same so an old grease cartridge did the trick. Needed a cable tie.View attachment 680940

Spanners???? This is a livestock farm.Crack open the joint with two spanners, use the spanner on the male fitting to twist pipe slightly and out of harms way and then hold tight and tighten the union. It will then stay in that position/curve. Used to do all of them when fitting loader brackets. The pipe will rub when left to find it’s own curve.
looks familiar Same tractor and chilton loader, in my avatarSpanners???? This is a livestock farm.
However I will mention your advice to the mechanic who cut the replacement pipe too long which is partly why it rubs

I take it your son is still quite young? He will learn eventually. NEVER THROW ANYTHING AWAY!! It WILL find a use eventually! Imagine if you had thrown them away you would have had to BUY a NEW cable tieForgot to add that the cable tie was off a used fertiliser bag.
