When i lived at home i had the sky remote on a long elastic string (stolen from an old coat) taped to the remote and tied to a nail on the beam above the sofa were i sat. It could easily reach anywere in the room but it stopped my bloody sister taking it to her bedroom for her tv and never bringing it back after she lost hers :cautious:
Maybe she was just after the batteries...:censored:

I think this ticks all the bodge boxes, reused baler twine, and part of an old inner tube, I needed to water some new hedge saplings and didn't have a fitting to go from 2" camlock to 32mm pipe.

You've done well getting an almost complete (evident from slight leak) seal using baler twine(y). If it had been me, i would have used zip ties; although this would deducted several bodge points, especially if they weren't reused ones

Getting into playing with hydraulics. Another shock absorber fitted to front linkage.

Ebay purchase 12 months ago. They just put it in the post!! Eeeek!
Bracket is a fallpipe bracket from an Atcost shed.
Parts Dept comes up trumps again with replacement end for (new to me) loader lift ram and pin to fit.
I'm going to have to order some more brash bushes for other pivot pins. I may have to delete my search history as they are properly described as 'split bushes' :cautious::nailbiting:

Pipe is also reclaimed from an old loader to mount another hydraulic 'bottle' on the loader frame instead of 'test position' next to the dipstick.
It works well though!

Can you guess that tomorrow is baling day? Daren't turn hay again or it will fall apart.

Electric shift on quad has started messing about , the manual shifter is in awkward place.
Young lad that works in the yard came up with this bit of workmanship

Speed wrench from the scoket set and a bit of heat , and socket bonded in place.

Works a treat

A quick get me out of a hole situation for the weekend until replacement parts can be sourced. Threads stripped insode the lifting arm adjuster - drilled hole and bolted it in place:

But some weld on and you won’t need replacement parts

The threaded part is a disimilar metal from that of the threaded bar, so I may only be able to weld the threaded rod I think. When drilling the part that is threaded - just had lots of little shavings instead of the normal spirals you get with drilling steel.

It looks to be some kind of cast metal.
