First plan was to get them out but accept for one they where really stuck. Since I had no use for them I decided to go the easy way and cut them off.
Didn’t have a big enough hammer then!

Old round ones out of twose buckrakes are the best. A lot of the gate bolts in the heavy gates in the stock yards here are made from them
Can't believe he left the handle on[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]View attachment 742890
Does anyone know what this creative use of a saucepan and chicken wire is for? Not my genius sadly, but a friend of mine. @MF-ANDY isn’t allowed to guess....
It’s not that tricky but it’s a great idea.
I'm sure he wouldn't mind[emoji106]I feel bad laughing but it was too good not to share. I also like the pattern on the pan....[emoji23]

And if you grind the edges off the flat end they make brilliant long tyre levers.Old round ones out of twose buckrakes are the best. A lot of the gate bolts in the heavy gates in the stock yards here are made from them

That is definitely a possibility.....He probably left the handle on so he could use it as a saucepan again should the need arise.

What you going to use the tank for? This must qualify, cutting up an old heating oil tank that someone gave me using all the small left over cutting discs that were too small to cut flat steel (and have been on a nail in the workshop for some time) but when cutting a tank you can have the guard on the 9 inch grinder over the edge and use them down to stubs. It took 18 of them in the end
, I almost got RSI from changing discs.
