How did he manage to create the world in the first place without it? It's like the biggest bodge going.

Forget 'string theory', my 'twine theory' is on the first day god said “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw the twine in the light and though that will be good.

On the second day God used the twine to tie the light up, so as not to keep wacking his head on it...

Haven't got a loader on my "new " tractor:( so had a bit of a problem siting our new patio table (3 cwt or so!). Having got it home, connected trailer to front of my Cushman Truckster to manoeuvre it into position ('cos I am a crap trailer reverser, can't turn my neck, too old & stiff & fat to turn my body & too incompetent to use the mirrors properly - just about sums it up). Then, how to get it over a raised flower bed whilst not devastating the bed was the next problem since the Chief Horticultural Supervisor was home & active.:scratchhead:

Insufficient reach on my new crane which I had dearly hoped to use:D ,& in any case it was too tight on space to unhitch the trailer & get the Truckster to the rear.
By dint of a sheet of second hand 19mm ply held to the trailer by two straps & supported by a pair of axle stands & some 6" square timber, a ramp was contrived. I managed to get one side of the table legs onto the ramp & then on it was plain sailing - not even an argument or hernia between us!(y) The ply even survived & the CHS inspection was passed with flying colours.

Nice to see some old silage wrap put to good use:)
