Not my own bodge, just bought a straw chopper with a bust gearbox, the only thing not bust on our is the gearbox .
The centre bolt is m10, the outer bolt is shearbolt should be m8 still a mystery why the gearbox failed.

when I was a student, the tegal used to eat shear bolts for a hobby, until I welded the back up on the sprocket when the boss was on holiday. this cured the problem
