quick fixes, bodges and creations

Exhaust disasters today!! Bend had blown a hole at the bottom, the following struggle to remove it made things slightly worst!!

Unfortunately I don’t have a fancy pipe bender that can bend 70mm that tight!! Therefore as it was needed there and then the bandsaw came into action and some quick welding!! Definitely qualifies as a bodge!!

Couldn’t use just one 45degree bend as it would be to close to starter motor!!

I have done a few with galvanise slurry fittings before.

Ooops........ you’ll have to weld them into something else first then butcher it.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. Unfortunately the exhaust will beed serious work this year anyhow, right from the turbo to that stack, it’s wafer thin all along therefore will have to start sourcing bits and bobs. CES used to be good for straight length etc.

How to get a water sample out of an old well?

No parts were harmed, with the exception of a bit of tape to stop the seed pipe which held the jubilee clip line guide from falling off the tree canes.

Binoculars and torch necessary as brick/bottle had to be threaded though various pipes etc to water 66m down.

Got the sample too, which was something of a surprise.

Should have raided the garden shed and taped some bean canes together with a plastic cup at the end [emoji106]
