Dad went a bit mad on Nigel our scraper tractor, changed both front wheel bearings before either wheel had fallen off (not a bodge!) Bushed out the king pins with a couple old grease cartridges (bodge?) and put a load of old washers under the steering wheel to take out the slack.

Was two days before I could drive the thing in a straight line again

Alternatively, drop the ball out, put it back in the socket and weld a big washer on the cup to keep it in

Trouble is, I would trust the bungee knot more than my welding

Mudguard was tumbling off the little trailer today when I got to work.

That should hold it until I get to fixing it properly in about 3 years.

Not mine. Spotted today. I especially like the fact that the mole grips weren’t to be trusted and so were taped up. Looks like it’s been in service for sometime. @MF-ANDY

Intermittent power fault on a Technics CD deck.

Problem traced to bad connections on the power supply board.

Bodge successful!

40mm box section creep gate to wean calves with. To fill a 12' gap. The horizontal bars will stop the cows nicking the barley I put out for the calves.

Running low on 40mm box, only about 2t left.

Sometimes there just isn't enough adjustment in the Claas rake, 1 hole too narrow & the other too wide....so out with the mag drill & a 32mm cutter

Swapping the door from left to right on a second hand Hotpoint fridge, the bush fell apart. A bit of pipe and some drilled out washers was perfect fit.
