Pulled 150m of post and rail apart yesterday with my copy.
40mm box and 2.4m handle.
It even pulls sideways to remove reluctant ends of rails.

Flat washer on the sprayer wash jets broke up, didn't have anything big enough so used core drill bit to cut a disc from an empty spray can then put the edge in a vice and held the top with pliers and drilled a bigger hole in the middle.

Today's bodge on my ancient ransomes seed drill. The only tubing I had that was half way suitable was some stainless milk lines (offcuts), some dubious welding, a plastic bottle which seems just about the right size, and two pop rivets.

We drill barley, grass, kale and a bit of stewardship bird mix. It's done us well but getting time for an upgrade when I can find something suitable.

I took some young stock to a bit of away ground and having cleared the trough out found that because the service box lid is missing and the little plastic gadget (I now have a pack of 9, thanks to TFF, but not in the truck) is bust meaning the usual fountain was entirely missing the trough. Found someones sani box and by good fortune (laziness) the battery drill was in the truck.

Built a hay feeder for lambs yesterday. Don’t mind the new lumber. Was going to use 2x4 lumber for a neck bar but ran out. So on with the creation. I started looking around for something suitable and found the right thing in plain sight, with our excavation business we replace hydrants (6’ bury frost-free) and end up with the old ones so I have a pile. I took the ends off and get a nice pipe and rod. Used the riser tube for the bar and two pieces of scrap tube and two sickle sections for the mounts. Also used used screws I found in my grandpas shop.

Ha went around that one. I’m guessing a nail my grandpa saved and needed storage for so in with screws. His shop is stashed with pill bottles of every fastener imaginable other than torx.
The lads were fitting new wheel bearings to the carrot straw remover yesterday, and the centre gap was missing so they came up with this beauty. Pto inner tube heated up to squeeze into the hole, some Perspex glued on and a grease nipple to fill the little hole that was already in the glass. They are well chuffed with themselves ??.

One of the safety switch’s on the rotary parlour was a little ‘sensitive ‘ so I ‘beefed ‘ it up a bit.
I apologise for using galvanised angle iron, it was some the shed erectors left behind , and to my eternal shame the bungee cord was new , on this occasion band wasn’t suitable!!. Do you think I should put it in the “other “ thread??
