Got fed up trying to roll out high tensile wire without the right tools.

Some shuttering ply offcuts, an old kitchen cabinet door, some galv bar offcuts from the scrap pile later... homemade spinning jenny table

The handle is for winding wire back on.

The offset insulators for holding the wire in place were new, but technically they can be classed as second hand, as they’ve to be used in the fence once finished.

It’s now a 1 man job rolling out HT wire, so you’re never near it, for it to hit you. Might be handy with the corners off if I’m ever having to roll up wire.

I'd argue the whole thing is a bit too engineered, what's wrong with a big block of wood

I keep a chain in the tractor to put under hitches like that. One end to each lift arm and I can usually get it back on the brick again.

Leave skid as a knife, it will cut down the central ridge on farm tracks

ha ha i wish i had a pick my late father used and off cut of a railway sleeper and uni brack over the drawbar (the flexible metal with loads of holes in) and fixed into the sleeper with wood screws!!

This is the sort of technology we need to bring back, its called "User Serviceable Technology"
