Hadn't thought about that

What speed does the blade turn at? A wee gaurd maybe an idea to stone stones etc
Front and rear scrap then.
Couldn't resist!
Careful with that some people who did grass cutting had brush cutter blades like that in strimmers, hit a stone, blade shattered and too some of his fingers offStrimmer head decided it no longer wanted to be attatched and flew in to pieces. But now i can strim and cut logs with my swiss army knife

It depends on your forward speed but I don't think it'll get above 1000 rpm.
It's close enough under the rear of the quad that it'll never be able to fling a stone at you, plus it's safe because when you stop it stops.
I hope that ended well for the bale.Improvised silage squeeze View attachment 971656
To be fair, it worked a treat . Loading another bale with the clamshell was touch and go , but it was going to be fed anywayI hope that ended well for the bale.
I managed to miss read that a couple of times and was seriously wondering if that is the "Improved silage squeeze" how you had been picking them up with a backactor before.Improvised silage squeeze View attachment 971656
