complete with colour coded tops for different sizes .
and cut out piece tidily put in recycling box

We did that with an old JCB 3C, you should have used a clear one, makes the gauge easier to read

we used to use the old gramoxone cans they were very strong and the right shape

I do that also,
We also use them that way to footpath a ewe at lambing time that has a sore foot, just fill up and place which ever foot is sore into it for a few minutes, works great without a whole mess

That and the chain been rusty leave a mark on the back of the cattle trailer. Was thinking of trying to replace with stainless.
