U might think that 🤔😏
Mate hitching his tri axle rigid low loader , eye had lifted ,so u cant hitch up .
He asked me to lift hook while he pushed down on the draw bar with loading shovel
He said Open the f#chin window so i can shout at u

Hitched up , job done , he went full rev reverse on loading shovel while lifting boom up bang .
It lifted the whole renault before the window went
Fair old bang un tiny bits of glass.

Whits enjoyed selling and installing new glass.

And when the vise grips fall off , and then window slams shut ,
You will have a million pieces of glass everywhere .
Buy a pair of struts , fraction of the cost of rear window .
Been there , got the t-shirt.
They wont fall off as there is a rounded lock on area at the back which is clamped around the rod, not flat like on the front of the jaws.
I might be cabbage looking but on not green

When you eventually get a new exhaust fitted, don't forget to ask for your jubilee clip and gripple back.
I’m afraid she may be scrapped when the mot runs out!
We often used to leave the bean tin patches on until the car went for scrap. I recall one Cortina lasted 4-5 years with at least three patches - I think that the exhaust ended stronger than the rest of the bodywork! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Probably only 30 quid for a new one
Dunno? It's a 97 model . Newer rims probably wont suit. Anyway, it was the challenge of it....tire shop owner watched in amazement when the lad put it in the water tank and there was no bubbles..... I said to him feck I'm good 🤣 🤣 He said yeah I saw what you had to work with !
