Little metal topped bench for welding - used metal from old old storage tank, insulation sheet which had become massively water logged, some old ply (from can't remember what) and an ancient Black and Decker Workmate. Welded 4 bolts to back of metal plate, sandwiched insulation between metal and plywood and bolted to Black and Decker.

Slightly spoilt bodge because metal plate had originally been laser cut and edges very rough so went over with straight edge and angle grinder with cutting disc to neaten up.

Having upgraded to guest hydraulic markers a few years back, the original accord system has now been re-purposed for remote meter wheel lift. Note use of baler twine as infinitely adjustable chain link. Rest of chain off front press after it wore through. Challenge now is to remember to drop it after encountering and levelling a mystery hole in the field.

Yes that is bits of an old steel diesel tank and old angle iron used to replace the lid on my old rotten muckspreader.
The whole thing is f**ked with rust so I wasn't going to spend money on steel to fix something that will only do another season maybe. It would have been a lot easier if I had though 🤦‍♂️
but then I wouldn't be able to post pictures of my bodging skills on here 🙃

Sodding brake accumulator gave up after only 18months, dealer wants £160 and the previous one didn't last long either! Got fed up of the charge valve thumping making the steering jerky. Dug out accumulator block from back of shed ( from scrap front mower I bought for the bed to mend rear mower). Plumbed in and tied in place under cab. Works a treat and will prob last a lot longer than the new one would!

We need to mark a row of trees so we can cut them all at the same height . I made a telescopic pole today with a paint spray can on the end , pull the rope and leave a dot of paint so the tree shear driver can keep them level . I think we will only have do every 6th or so just so we have a rough guide . Couldn’t think of another way of doing it . Sorry I used quite a bit of shiny stuff but it was all left overs .

Hope the shear operator know the line on the shed is only trial for your marker can and not his start point! 😂
