Brecon horse sale on the 22nd, unless covid rules stop it
And take your daughter's life's in their hands. Seriously, don't go to a sale unless you know what you are doing. There are reputable dealers about, and crooked private sellers. Sales give you little chance to try out. Good ponies are like gold dust and pass through contacts. Try the pony club first.

minefield  ....vet check essential...some dealers will allow a trial period subject to a non refundable deposit.....a lot depends ,as said, on the ability of the girls.....or what they want?....a 'happy hacker /pet'? could be a cobby type and cheaper than something they can go to shows/jumping

Contact your local Pony Club, they will often know of outgrown ponies, often good ponies will go out on loan which isn't a bad idea. Take someone experienced to view, get it vetted. Don't expect sellers to let the pony go on trial, I never did. A lot can go wrong in a short time! An honest seller shouldn't object to you trying the pony a few times. Just beware, good first ponies are like hens teeth and will sell quickly. Our girls have grown up now but loved their 'horsey' years although I can honestly say I don't miss them at all!! (Especially when one was competing alot)

We have something. Was used by DDA (Driving for the Disabled) so had to be quiet and pass vet. Getting a tad old now but bomb proof. Bennington carriage may be available as well. (Good fun)
Don't really want to sell but keen for very long term home.
Cheers for reply .How old is a tad old ?
