Never thought the forum would ever get an all time high like this;). Bet it out last a few others tho as repairs will cost almost nothing compared to top end machines and it should cost about the same as a set of tyre's for 300hp machine I bet? Or track's for a quad track?
Makes one think don't it??????

The belarus tractor are good, reliable especially new models. Brakes a massive difference compared to old models. Plenty of power out of them. Did you buy the 1221.3 yet. Is that colm kenneally you price the tractor or from minsk tractor plant outside waterford.

Will do the same job as any other make basic and repairable :) rather spend money on stock etc ;-)

Just think for a minute! Just which country has invaded its neighbour? Blackmails other neighbours by withholding gas supplies? Sends assassins with nuclear based poisons to kill people in the UK? Is boycotting our agriculture and food industry, which directly effects YOU?

Oh yes, that's right, its Russia. And you want to support them by buying one of their crap tractors. Great!

Sorry, I'm not usually bothered by these things but it does seem ironic that there are thousands of nice used tractors in dealer's yards all over the UK and most significantly and importantly and topically, farmers are having a very tough time, lots of them as a direct consequence of one country's aggression towards its neighbours and the Western World generally, yet someone, possibly a farmer who is part of the EU farming community, actually wants a tractor built by them. An inferior brand compared to all the alternatives.

Why not buy a Zetor, McCormick, Landini, or any brand with a proven reputation and reasonably solid low depreciation? Anything but a Russian thing. It certainly isn't being considered on comfort, convenience, technical merit, productivity or residual value being superior to anything.

However, if the OP is a dyed-in-the-wool Belarus fanboy, fair enough. Best place to get a price is at their dealer I would have thought. Its a free country, which is a hell of a lot more than can be said for Russia.

Nice used tractors ? Most are piles of expensive crap that someone else has got ridof just in time before major breakdown, I have had zetors etc cant fault them but not what they were price has gone to high for me , I have had 5 new belarus in last 30 years and cant fault them I can fix with basic tools ,I am a farmer not a politician my purchase of a belarus tractor will make no difference to any problems with russia, I for one do not care dog eat dog in this world cowabunga , im not being drawn in to an argument with you over a price for a tractor ,
