hello everyone I'm new to this site and was seeking a little advice if I may.im looking for farmers who have rabbit control problems on there land who need help reducing numbers. I'm a responsible adult and father of 5. I'm fully insured up to 10million pounds. I would be greatly appreciative I'm looking to have long lasting relationships with troubled farmers until im not needed anymore im full time employed as a Fire engineer.thank you very much for taking the time to read my post

Apart from the very rude moron who replied James did you get any sensible feedback? I too am looking for an opportunity and was an army marksman

You might find lack of interest due to low rabbit numbers. Round here, there’s single figures where used to be problem areas. Mixi and this haemorrhaging virus keeping numbers way down. See more brown hares than rabbits.

Rabbit numbers are well down in most places (not all)
Out of 5 farms I currently look after and going round with thermal spotter I bet I wouldn’t count 20 rabbits on them all.
These are farms that back in the 80’s & 90’s produced 70, or 80 plus rabbits in a few hours of an evening.

first off it was mixy, and now VHD, they have been persecuted and not the numbers around there once was.
I recently picked up 400 acres that supposedly is lifting with them, but I didn’t see the signs when I had a walk around, it’s a place I ferreted as a kid and 300 in a weekend happened on more than one occasion.

On a side note, the fact people seem unwilling or unable to post threads in the correct place makes me wonder, how well can they actually follow the landowners wishes in what he actually wants/does not want, when I have folk out shooting with me, I make it pretty clear what’s expected, and if you don’t follow that, your down the road.
