I might be interested in the double slabber if it's still about, I'd certainly like to know more about it. Do you have any more pics?
Thanks - sion

Sorry to dig up an old thread but been researching these today and not found much info at all! Our neighbouring wood man is retiring and is looking to sell his bench. I’ve been given the task of finding it a new home and wondered where to advertise??
Especially as I don’t know too much about it!

It’s a 48ft rack so can cut up to 24ft lengths with 4ft and 5ft blades (with inserts). Pto driven and has been in situ for approx 50 years but has been dismantled and reassembled approx 15 years ago to be trued up. Is there any demand for these still? It’s an awesome piece of kit that has worked 360 days a year for probably over half a century and I can’t stand the thought of it getting scrapped. I’ve spent my whole life on the farm next door listening to the saw singing away and it’s sad to think it will soon be gone.
