RADIAL VS CROSS PLY

Dump the water and weights, AND most of the AIR. Run mine at 4lbs pressure. I know, you all will have horrified expresions now thinking me an idiot.
I will definitely try it at some point, what size and make tyre do you run, I don't think my present super Kings and tubes would hack it thoughđź‘Ť

Quite a few matches in wet conditions in January here, 35 with diff lock struggled. Changed to radials was a good help, then put wheel weights on that helped again. Sometimes have problems pairing if ground is wet or tender probably due to problems mentioned above, but better than running on draft.35 with weights probably similar to ih 275 without? NB been ploughing a while but still learning here!

Thanks ts59, we're not allowed diff lock and I try never to use draft, so I find without weight, I'm either digging holes or tearing at the ground and destroying next run, I added water a few years back and the tractor travels away in most conditions, I was just wondering would radials help, but the ones I have on another tractor are grand width but very low, prob be better with 320/85r28

Radials every time, far superior to cross ply. I run with GY 12.4/11R28 radials, never struggle for traction....and yes I have wheel weights on as 35's are light little tractors and I'm not using draft control.

Thanks Fergie Ploughman, we'll want all the traction we can get from now on, land got very wet In a short time and it was very dry three weeks ago
