Wondered if anyone has been affected by some of Network Rail proposals to close and or change the use (public to a private crossing ).
Any good sources of advice NFU anyone had any experience .

The farm uses a level crossing to access some land 40 %of total farm area and is the only way to access it .
They are proposing to change it from a public level crossing to a private users level crossing (most probably key holders only) and a road aprox 230 meters the other side of crossing from a public highway to a private track .
I know it is all in the interest of safety and cost saving for Network rail wondered if anyone had any input ?

Dont have any father and grandfather farmed land going back many years not sure if the family farmed it when the railway was built through .There not going to close it at moment just its stature to a private crossing and a road one side from a public highway to a private road .
