Another inch this morning, how are people getting on with their silage,
Its a right struggle here in cumbria.
we arent ready yet thankfully but the dairy fellas are having a bit of a fight, its a good job there are modern machinery nowadays , they will do 200 acre in 24hrs but its still hard on the workers having to work through the nights to beat the weather.

Around here in Central Scotland its been very dry for the last 10 days, missed the showers, all the dairy boys got a great go, no one starts baling around my area till after the Highland show, unless the weather is brilliant, abit rain this morning, drizzle, l put in 25 acre of rape n grass yesterday, worked away and rolled it till 12 last night, so it's getn a wee drink this morning 👍

Folk are snatching their silage down here, not ideal but they are getting it in.

That would be nice stuff, Scotland sometime not so bad after all, the crop would be decent aswell. I just cut it once but another 10day and if the weather was good l will make a start.
