Ram question?

I raddled up my all-new Cher Tup yesterday and off he went , blue marks on about 10 ewes, all good
but Today another Ram got in there and he is smothered in blue so been jumping the same ones that are cycling no big problem he is a smart thing, so my question is what is the outcome likely to be.
Might be a bit of a silly question to some folk, but its all entertainment remember

what I probably should have said the Texel is proven but the new tup is only 10m
what I was thinking the new chap may be infertile thus leaving the ewes cycling or maybe they carry on for a few days.
I got the old shepherd down the road saying all twins born will be one of each and some singles will be a mix of the 2 tups, he is always taking the pi** just wondered if there's any truth in that sh*t, knowing him probably not

Any lamb will be by either one or the other.

It's quite possible to have twins that are by different fathers.

Yes, he’s lifting your leg. As above, any lambs could be by one, the other, or mixed sets.

A ewe on heat won’t go off just because she’s been served, she’ll be open to all offers for a while.

I always put my ewes in batches of 80 with 2 tups 1 with red and 1 with blue... 99% of the time all ewes end up with purple bums so they Definatly take it in turns and it’s fastest swimmer wins

We’ll quite often put a mature ram and a ram lamb to chase the repeats in the ET recipients with different colour crayons. What you’ll usually find is a few with the mature tup’s colour only at the start, when he can do his job and keep the youngster at bay, then the vast majority marked by both when the lamb is getting sloppy seconds and maybe one or two marked by the lamb only, towards the end. These would be three cycles after sponging so would tup over 5-6 days.
