I need some advice as I’m renting 50 acres for my rams and ewes. The landowner has rented the extra feild out to another farmer who has put his ewes and ewe lambs in there. How to I stand if my ram gets into his sheep or his ewe get over into my flock. I have fencing up my side of the hedge which is on main electric

If it’s your stock escaping then it’s you that is liable for damages. If it’s his coming your way then it’s tough and make sure he fixes his fence

Or do what a former neighbour on a piece of away ground. Put your cows and calves in the field next too our cows and calves where our bull is running. When our bull jumped the fence they tried all sorts too claim. In the end Grandad took the bulls pedigree down and proved that our stock bull was better bred than their fancy breeding bull. Then when their bull broke onto us and was full on fighting our bull blame us, do nothing about the gaping hole in the fence and not even attempt too get their bull back.

I hope you get a decent neighbour, not the other kind!!!
