Has anyone had any issues with Ford ranger hands free kit, my one has all of a sudden lost connectivity and does not show on any phone for you to connect to it. Its 2018 model just basic truck not a limited, wild track etc, has the standard radio with bt audio not touch screen. Didn't know if there's a reset anywhere driving me round the bend now, that and it leaking water in to the cab ?

Try telling it to forget your devices then pairing bluetooth again from the start.

I have tried unfortunately didn't work its like the truck hands free is no longer visible to the phone as when you scan on phone it won't pick anything up!

Do you not have to press a button on the radio to become detectable for a few mins?

On your phone Settings, go to Bluetooth and Forget the paired Sync device [your car].

On your vehicle, if it has the Sync system with no navigation or touchscreen, press the Phone button and it will give you the option, if you scroll down, to Delete all Devices. Do so.

Then Add Bluetooth Device on the Sync screen again. Press OK, which should make it be in pairing mode. It should give you a PIN number.

On your phone, go to Settings, Bluetooth, press on Sync tab and enter the PIN number and Pair. Or just accept the PIN if duplicated on your phone automatically, which I doubt would be the case.

Set your phone to be the primary phone so that no matter what other paired phones are also in the car, your phone will be the favoured device.

Download Your Phonebook, click OK and Bob's your uncle, assuming it all works.

There may be some variation due to me forgetting some steps or your model having a later version of Sync.
