Rape extension for Claas V660 header

Looking for a rape extension kit for a Lexion V660 header (or from another header if need be, for modification). Already have a side knife. Based in Cheshire but would travel anywhere for the right thing at the right price.

Just bought the combine and doesn't have it, has done rape in the past though as the side knife wiring is there. Doing our first ever harvest of rape this year (not too common round here) so need to get set up. Our other combine isn't set up for rape either but as we're only doing a small area, thought it would be best on this combine only.

Private buy or through a dealer? If through a dealer go back and tell them it'll be no use without them. I didn't realise you could buy the vario header without the fillers.

Private sale and at a very good price so can't complain. It is entirely possible (probable) that it's actually a C660 header and I'm just getting confused!

Have a look at combine breakers, John manners always has a few headers in. Have you got the extension (greedy boards) along the top edge, also worth thinking about.

If it was a v660 I thing the sideknives would be hydrolic. Does the knife move in and out

I'm pretty sure it's a C660 now, just me getting confused from what I saw looking at other combines! It hasn't been delivered yet so can't just look at the header. Already had sideknife off another combine and was going to use that but may as well get the complete set and the right one for this header. Will try a few breakers. Plenty of what I'm after in Europe and I'm off to Paris some time soon, may end up hitching the trailer on and taking a slight detour

If it's a C660 you would be better buying a complete bolt on rape extension with the sideknife already attached to it. There maybe someone on here wanting to part with one? Have you got the extensions around the rim of the header? Or cheaper option you could just grow the dwarf rape and bolt on your existing sideknife on to your standard header.
