Rapid direct into grass

Has anyone drilled direct into a sprayed off ley successfully?
Have a bit that has been round up’d 10 days or so and starting to yellow. Has been grazed by the cows but not tight. Would just drilling discs do a good enough job or do a bit with the system disc ?

Drilled spring Linseed in to burnt off grass, it drilled with no issues.

Ive done grass into grass and wheat into maize. its got to be worth a try, i would probably start without the discs and see what happens, if I am direct drilling I always slow right down, set the depth for deeper than usual and I do tend to increase the seed rate slightly. Maybe worth doing a couple of runs with the seed turned off to see what happens.

Wheat can be done, but it’s fraught with problems IMHO.

Did think about a run with no seed but would have to go back over it again, it’s not bad ground so will wait for rain to stop and see what it‘s like

Yes, did some this year into 1 year old grass Ley last week. Just used seeding discs, took some pulling mind, Challenger certainly wasn't romping away. Didn't pre em as concerned about heavy rain washing chemical down the slots, Went in a treat seed shooting and rooting
