Rappa Race Grip

Lots of talk on here about the Ritchie Combi Clamp but has anyone seen or used Rappas new Race Grip? Looks like it solves the weight and portability issues of the combiclamp alongside being easier to operate.

Like the fact that it’s light and easy to move, however by having to close the grip by hand is a backwards step from a Combi clamp which leaves both hands free
Surley using one hand to shut it doesn't matter as it leaves the other hand free to push up a sheep etc, When you're closing the Combi Clamp you cant do anything else at the same time till the sheep is locked in

But presuming the sheep are running well, with a combi clamp drenching or injecting is so quick as your hands are free to hold the gun and grab the sheep's mouth, or wool for injecting.
Also, when drafting, a little touch with the foot slows a sheep down to smooth the flow.

The portability of the rappa system would be a big improvement though.

As posted both hands free with a combi, definitely not easier to operate.

Saw it at a show. Thought it would be better at holding a variety of sizes as it moves in and clamps from both sides. Find with the Combi Clamp that sometimes a smaller/leaner ewe has more room to move about, or if you wanted to dag ewes and lambs as they went through. Also liked the extended arm down the race so you can push one up the race and clamp it without having to rush up and jump on the clamp when she does decide she wants to go through, but just at 100mph...

Not having two hands free I thought was a downside, and there's a thin-ish metal rod which clips across the top of the clamp which I thought looked likely to get bent. Apparently hadn't happened in a year or so of testing though so maybe it won't.
