Rat Catcher offering free service to farmers in the Cumbria area. 25 years experience and no poisons used. Myself and 2 other people as a rule of thumb would turn up at the property. We use a rat smoker, a garden fork and on rare occasions a spade so we can bolt the rats for the terriers to dispatch. The photograph provided was the catch where a pheasant pen had been and took roughly 4 hours to catch and kill over 100 rats. If interested please reply and I will get back to you the same day. Many thanks, John Askins
very good work
what is rat smoker?
we have rat problem here in mid wales catching some with traps, for everyone that we catch would you say there are 10 more?
Hi. I would possibly say more than that. I used to catch a lot at night with the terriers and a good lamp. You could see them everywhere. If I can load up a video of what the smoker does I will but I suggest you type in Google, Rat Attack Smoker and you should be able to view videos on YouTube. Traps are an excellent way to teach young terrier pups. Live traps which I sometimes use as the name says keeps them alive so you can let your young terriers see them. I found this to be a grreat way of encouraging the pups to hunt.
