Just seen this....On this site just a few years ago dry beet shreds was suggested .. do you or your neighbors keep poultry?

Thinning them out slowly.
Got a couple of 'walk the plank' traps,set up after 'acquiring' some wheelie bins .

I was going to call in one day for coffee and cake but the fact that the one trap appears to be set in the spare bedroom has put me off a little

Mine were described as rat traps but when they arrived it said on the packet mouse traps !

How about mixing icing sugar with quick set post mix and putting where it won't get wet.. while @Hfd Cattle is reading all this the rats are breeding and multiplying

Yes . Ramp is a but steep on the one in the photo but I've caught 37 in that bin .
The other one..Will get a photo ... the ramp is level out of a feeder and have caught over 60 .
OH said its not a,wise thing to put photo up of rats In the water ....

As much as I hate rats wouldnt like to drown them, not a nice way to die. Is there another way to kill them ? That said I use poison and dont suppose that's nice, back of the shovel works well

He could stick a electrical appliance in there. Or leave it dry and play survival of the fittest

Sorry I just saw I only half replied ...I think it was £22 for 4 delivered . I kept 2 and gave 2 away to friend who is also overrun with rats .

I don't know but I always prefer 'breast' stroke ......

Many years ago the bin over our roller mill would fill with rats, so every now and then we‘d put the gaffer’s Jack Russell in there. A few minutes of growling accompanied by chomping noises and job done!

I smeared a bit of peanut butter on flap and a bit of corn dust .
