Was it a proper go around stinging people just for the sake of it wasp or one of those dopey overwintering queen wasps that woke up grumpy and stung you on the off chance you'd let it go?
Never been stung by a queen wasp and have seen lots more of them this autumn/winter than normal wasps all year.
