RDS Ceres 8000i won't stop recording to change fields.

Our RDS Ceres yield meter is being a pain; when you finish a field you are supposed to press Log followed by STOP to finish recording the field. You can then create a new field when you move onwards. Pressing Log moves to the screen with STOP on it but pressing the stop button doesn't stop anything from happening! As a result I can't start a new field...

Any suggestions; tried restarting the unit, tried removing and reinserting the SD card etc but not really making any progress with it. Are RDS available on a bank holiday Monday?

Sounds like the button is not working had to send my box back to them When it was 2 years old as the buttons stopped working

Try pressing and holding the full stop button.
