I saw someone doing this and they just had a piece of plate across front of elevator trunk on angle and just tipped trailer into it and just kept topping trailer up using loader (used as big hopper I suppose)

one of my guys cleaned his milling wheat and noticed a large amount of unthreshed tips. Put them back through the combine and got a fair old pile of grain back out.

Like this. Trailer tip in hopper. Big shed so just put combine spout out.

@static . I am thinking of doing this with a deutz 3580. Is it better in the neck (or do you get broken grain - i presume you loosen back concave) or up through the hatch to the walkers. Do you know which would do better job? Seems to be mixed views online about the value of running through combine so Id love to hear from anybody who has actually done/doing it.
Ps I actually started another thread before I saw this one....sorry

Done this with a JD2256 I think it was in the late 90s. Six row barley (manitou) to improve the bushell weight. The old grain store that was on the place had a pipe that fed outside of the building to fill lorries off the top conveyor that filled the bins. Parked combine header, fully raised with the drive to the header disconnected under the (extended) pipe feeding into just behind the auger so that it would be dragged into the combine by the elevator. Played about with settings to minimise losses over the back but did a fantastic of improving the bushell weight but did skin the grain fairly bad but was just feed anyway. Bushel weight improved from about 61 to 68 if I remember correctly. Big pile of chaff behind the combine that looked like grain from a distance but was just husks
