Re-seal leaky spools

The trusty old mx is leaking, is this a job I can do myself?
Do I just strip them and get new seals or do I have to order the correct seals?
If I strip them will they spring into a thousand pieces?

If you got parts catalogue with type and size easier but they will measure and think get or make anything !

I can’t send much else to wazzos my heap of things there just grows and grows.
It’s a job I need to sort ASAP before it goes out fencing and doesn’t return home until August

Don’t know the machine but is it leaking between the slices?

Just done said leaks on our old 956 and the seal kits are mega expensive for what they are but without the kits it’s difficult to know what sizes you need, I now buy the O-Rings from bearing boys for pennies as it’s only the normal type O-Rings that go and not the ‘specials’.

Yes, it's a job you can do yourself, be sure though to use accurate sized, high quality o rings or you'll be doing them again very quickly !

sent my mx120 in to be done 5 years ago.. still leeks.....both 51s stilll dry from new.
My MX also leeks from cross shaft....
