10 what? :)

I have a medium term (5yr) ley with white clover at £49.00/14kg/acre bag then through the low £50's to mid/high £50's for leys containing all current NIAB listed varieties. I don't think any grass mixtures has gone out more than £4.28/kilo this year, apart from organic that is.
I don't sow medium term only long term late ryegrass bit of tetreploed (spelling sorry ) and bit if Tim and small leaved white

Thanks I think it went in too deep and loose first time, got the seed so going to spin it on harrow lightly and roll twice and fingers crossed!! May even slugg pellet to be sure ! Had soil samples done too results back in a week can't wait that long so thought just get. It on and fert In Spring if needed .

£60 an acre for grass seed is not expencive, its an excellent investment, probabaly would be piar for in increased quality and prouduction from first cut alone

You said you had 43mm of rain, 'damping off' is a disease that will weaken or kill seedlings and is most common in wet and cool conditions. Just try and roll ASAP, this will squeeze out air pockets where water will settle.
